International School

  • Since its inception, Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur (TCISKL) has been committed to nurturing compassion and a spirit of giving among its students. The donations collected through the annual Bamboo Bank programme have been channelled towards Tzu-Chi Alternative Learning Centres (ALCs) in Sabah, to ensure education opportunities for stateless children. Recently, a group of TCISKL students embarked on a volunteer service trip to East Malaysia, immersing themselves in Tzu Chi’s selfless love and life education.

  • On June 29, 2024, a group of 27 secondary school students from TCISKL’s Tzu Chi Youth Association (TCYA), accompanied by teachers and Tzu Chi volunteers from the Tzu-Cheng and Yi-Te Association, flew to Sandakan, Sabah, for a five-day volunteer service trip. Their itinerary included participating in free clinics, distributing supplies, visiting a landfill, and spending time with stateless students at a Tzu Chi Alternative Learning Centre (ALC) — a series of experiences that profoundly impacted their souls.

  • On July 15, 2023, Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur held its annual sports day for its secondary school. With this year’s theme, “We Unite through Sports”, it is hoped that students could experience the real power of teamwork and unity through their participation in the sports day.

  • With the construction of Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur (TCISKL) in full swing and its opening scheduled for January 2020, Tzu Chi KL & Selangor held a charity fair on June 23, 2019 to support the good cause. Some volunteers and public members also gave their support in the form of “Honorary Board Members”.

  • To most people, one does charity when one is rich enough. However, some kind souls may not be financially rich and yet, they are willing to part with some of their savings for the development of education. This spirit of contributing for education earns the respect of others.

  • On May 1, 2019, Tzu Chi Education Foundation conducted a series of enrolment briefing sessions for prospective students and their parents, totalling more than 5,000 attendees. Some eager parents even went the extra mile to attend the sessions, travelling to the KL Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall in Kepong from other states across Malaysia or even from overseas.
