More than 20 from the low-income group lost their homes in Kampung Melayu in an arson attack by a mentally-ill person. After learning the news, Tzu Chi volunteers rushed to offer assistance to those affected.

On June 8, 2019, a fire broke out in Kampung Karamunting Baru in Sandakan, Sabah at 2 pm, resulting in significant damage. Tzu Chi volunteers arrived at the site of the incident on June 15 to extend relief to the fire victims by distributing relief supplies and financial aid, besides conveying their sincere condolences.

Seven houses were destroyed in a fire at Kampung Ulu Rantau, Seremban. Following a visit and assessment on the following day, Tzu Chi volunteers provided clothing and cash aid to three affected households.
