Any e-invoice containing inaccurate and/or incorrect information shall be deemed as void and the Foundation, its employees, and/or volunteers shall not be liable for any costs, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from discrepancies, inaccuracies, or incorrect information provided on the e-invoice.
- E-invoices are not valid for tax deduction purposes. Tax deduction can ONLY be applied using Official Donation Receipt issued by the Foundation as stated in the Guideline for the Approval from IRB Director General under S44(6) of Income Tax Act 1967 for Institution/Organisation/Foundation Dated 20 August 2024.
- The Foundation shall reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to make decisions regarding any requests related to the e-invoice, including but not limited to any amendments. The decision made by Tzu Chi Foundation shall be final and conclusive.

FAQs on E-Invoicing for Donations
Q1.When can I request an E-invoice after making a donation?
You can request an E-invoice the next day once the donation receipt has been issued.
E-invoice request can only be requested once the donation receipt is issued, as you will need the receipt no. , date and amount for the e-Invoice request.
*Donation receipt must be obtained before submitting an e-Invoice request.
Q2.Can I request e-Invoice for my previous/past donation?
E-Invoice can only be issued within the same calendar month as the receipt issuance.
Example 1: Donation receipt issued on February 5th, 2025. E-Invoice request must be made within February 2025.
Q3.What information do I need to provide to request an E-invoice?- An image of the donation receipt (PNG, JPEG, JPG).
- Receipt number, date and amount.
- Your basic personal details.
- Your email address (ensure the email is correct, as the E-invoice will be emailed to you directly).

The E-invoice will be sent to your provided email address.

It may take up to 5 business days. Please request for E-invoice ONLY upon receipt issuance.
Q9.Can I request an E-invoice if I donate anonymously?
No, anonymous donations are not eligible for E-invoicing.
Donors are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at their own discretion to ensure the issuance of an E-invoice.
