Thank you for your kind donation.
We have delivered your love to the beneficiaries
and many of them are inspired to reciprocate.
Delivering love and aid
Following initial visits and assessments, Tzu Chi has listed 2,178 families of different races as beneficiaries for the “Kita1Keluarga” relief programme, and the volunteers have visited these families commencing end of August to deliver cash cards and a letter of blessings from Master Cheng Yen.
“I’ve never expected an organization to come to my home and touch my soul so deeply. As the lyrics go, we’re one family.”
One by one, the volunteers eradicated their worries with support and love from everyone.
Evoking kindness and strength
While extending love and care, the volunteers also seized the opportunities to evoke kindness in the beneficiaries and share with them the concept behind Tzu Chi’s bamboo bank – everyone can give, as many a little makes a mickle.
“Tzu Chi helps us, and so, we must also help others.”
With their hearts filled with gratitude and love, many of the beneficiaries donated into the bamboo bank right away and gladly accepted the bamboo bank from the volunteers so that they can save daily to help others in need. There were even beneficiaries who gave the volunteers handmade baskets and
home-cooked food to sell and donate to the “Kita1Keluarga” relief fund.
Tzu Chi volunteers will continue to be there, to tide through these difficult times together with everyone.
